Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters

Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters is a 2D arcade fighting/shooting game and the sequel to Mega Man: The Power Battle.

The player must choose one character from four available: Mega Man, Proto Man, Bass (all three returning from the previous game), and Duo. Each character has different attributes and abilities. Gameplay is almost identical to the previous installment, with an emphasis on shooting instead of hand-to-hand fighting and a "boss rush" feel where the player fights against bosses from the main series. When using their arm cannon (or mechanical arm for Duo), the player can charge the attack to make it stronger. Like in the main games from the series, defeating an enemy will grant the character their special ability.

The game has three scenarios (each with a different set of opponents): finding Dr. Wily, saving Roll, and recovering stolen robot parts.
