Maverick Bird

Maverick Bird is a fangame based on Flappy Bird with the visual aesthetics of the developer's previous game Super Hexagon. The basic design is identical, but now the player steers an abstract bird through an environment with bright colours and pounding music that loops across sessions. The bird moves forward automatically and the player can only interact with a key, making it flap its wings so it flies higher. This game adds another key to dive down quickly. As each passage has a different height, the player needs to make sure it is able to pass. Variations in level design are offered through tunnels and other kinds of gaps. A medal is award for certain scores and when a previous record is broken, the colours turn to grayscale.
