About
MANOS: The Hands of Fate is a retro platformer done in the style of 8-bit games, such as Super Mario Bros. It is based on the 1966 cult horror film of the same name. Mike and his family get lost on their trip only to end up in Valley Lodge, where caretaker Torgo greets them and warns them to stay. But they stay and a night of terror ensues.
The graphics, music and sound effects are all done in the style of old NES games. You play as Mike, the father of the family, and the goal is to jump, run and shoot your way through the level to the level boss and beat it in order to get to the next level. There are different types of guns available. There are also levels where Mike flies a plane.
