Lost Skies

Lost Skies is a cooperative PvE survival adventure set among the remnants of a lost world, where players explore the skies in search of answers behind the collapse of ancient civilizations. Built as a spiritual successor to Worlds Adrift, this new title shifts from a PvP sandbox to a more focused, co-op experience designed around exploration, shipbuilding, and teamwork. The game can also be played as a single-player experience.

Players use a mysterious force known as Atlas—an ancient power keeping the floating islands aloft—to traverse abandoned ruins, solve puzzles, and uncover long-lost technologies. These discoveries help players navigate the treacherous skies, which are filled with hazards such as rogue drones, ancient turrets, and towering skyborne creatures that once helped bring about humanity's downfall.

At the heart lies a shipbuilding system. Players are free to design and assemble their own skyships, balancing agility, defense, and firepower to meet the unique challenges of their journey. Each vessel is completely customizable, serving not only as a mode of transportation but also as a mobile base and weapon platform. This creative freedom extends to traversal as well. Whether scaling cliffs, soaring between islands with a wingsuit, or grappling across ruins, the game emphasizes a physics-based movement system that rewards exploration.

The game also features the Island Creator, a tool allowing players to build custom floating islands and share them via the Steam Workshop. The game is not playable offline due to its reliance on leased physics tech—similar to what powered Worlds Adrift.
