Lost Planet 2

Lost Planet 2 for mobile devices is a side-scrolling platform shooter. The player initially takes control of a snow pirate called Jed. When people start to disappear from his camp, he travels to the jungle where he investigates what is happening. Soon he is captured and meets Grace, a jungle pirate who questions him. They decide to team up and the player gets to control both characters, alternating between the two.

The gameplay involves jumping between platforms and shooting the enemies that appear. The level design is linear with arrows showing which way the player should go. The main attack is an automatic rifle with unlimited ammo but it is also possible to find grenades that can be thrown at enemies. Killed enemies drop thermal energy (t-eng) which can be collected. As long as the player has some t-eng left, health will be automatically replenished. The two characters have abilities that are unique for each one. Jed can use a grappling hook while Grace can hack computer consoles.
