Light Fantasy

Long ago, the earth was but a single continent, and monsters roamed the lands. A hero descended from the realm of the gods, wielding a sword imbued with the power of eight elements, with which he split the earth and battled the monsters. Once peace was finally reached, the hero thrust the now powerless sword into the peak of a mountain, and remained in the world to love a human life. However, monsters have once again started to appear, the princess has been kidnapped, and the hero's descendant must step up and restore peace to the world once more.

Light Fantasy is a light-hearted Japanese-style RPG. The game features a tactical battle system directly inspired by Ultima: Exodus, where each combatant may move and perform an action each turn. A particular unique feature of the game is the ability to recruit party members; while several characters will automatically join as story events dictate, the player also has the option to ask any NPC or enemy character to join their party.
