Legend of the Skyfish

In Legend of the Skyfish, players control Little Red Hook in her journey to defeat the Skyfish, an evil ancient being awoken by greedy fisherman. This is a level-based action-puzzle game; in each level, Little Red Hook has to pass from one little island to another until she finds a Skyfish totem, which she has to destroy. To do so, she has to use her fishing rod, which serves both as a weapon and as a grappling hook. She can't jump, so she has to attach her hook on specific structures on the other island and pull herself. Other puzzle elements involve opening gates by walking over pressure plates. The game also features combat against the Skyfish minions: besides attacking them with the fishing rod, Little Red Hook can also pull them near with the hook, bringing them over from another island, for instance.

Along her way, Little Red Hook will also find upgrades for her outfit and fishing rod attack and hook. After collecting such upgrades, the player can select which one to use in each level, leading to different strategies depending on the level puzzles and enemies. The game is divided in 5 chapters with 9 levels each; at the end of each chapter a boss fight awaits. The game game is viewed from a bird's eye perspective and the levels are divided in smaller screens, resembling the early The Legend of Zelda games.
