Last Ranker

Last Ranker is a role-playing game where the player controls Zig in a hybrid of real-time and turn-based combat. The game is set in a fantasy backdrop, with the world ruled by the Warlord Organization Bazalta. This organization keeps track of 100,000 fighters and ranks them by their strength. Zig, a member of a banished tribe, joins the Bazalta but soon finds out the corruption within the organization, as he learns that almost his whole tribe was slaughtered while he was gone. He takes in the role of a double agent secretly working for anti-Bazalta rebels to take down the Seven Knights, the top seven warriors within the organization.

Zig uses a sword for his main attacks, and a subweapon can be selected for different attacks. SP is the main resource during combat, with all of Zig's attacks using this resource. If your SP runs out, Zig will be unable to attack and only be able to block attacks. As the player progresses, Zig encounters rivals in battles known as Ranker battles. The rivals in these battles have a Break gauge. Depleting it results in more damage per attack. More powerful Rankers and bosses have unique skills that Zig can later use.
