About

Susumu Kamioka is a second-year student at Seiryō High School who is bored with is uneventful daily life; he is a member of the school newspaper club, and after finding a strange pendant in his belongings, he decides to start investigating mysterious fainting incidents that have been happening at the school. Makoto Kiryū is a second-year student at Seiryō Academy; he's the leader of the popular band ZAP, but has fallen into a creative slump from the pressure, and after finding a strange pendant in his belongings, he becomes captivated and starts using forbidden magic to create his music. These two do not exist in the same reality, but their fates will soon become intertwined.

L no Kisetsu: A piece of memories is a romantic fantasy visual novel split between two worlds: the "real world" of Seiryō High School, and the "fantasy world" of Seiryō Academy. The player can choose either Susumu or Makoto as the protagonist, which determines their view of the story's events. The first time through the game, there are limited options for branching the story, and only a few endings are available, but reaching different endings will reveal more information, adding new branch points to the story on subsequent plays.

The limited edition release includes a trading card and a set of four alternate cover artworks, but is otherwise identical.
