Knight 'n' Grail

Knight 'n' Grail is a platformer action/adventure game for the Commodore 64 released well after the system's normal lifespan. You play as an unnamed Knight, and need to explore a castle in search of the 'Vessel of Restoration', which can remove a curse inflicted upon you and your beloved. As you explore the castle, you find additional equipment and abilities which allow you to overcome obstacles that were previously insurmountable.
