Kikokugai

Kikokugai is a remake of Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer which features voice acting, completely redrawn art, and new graphics. It follows the same overall story as the original, though all of the explicit sexual content has been removed. In addition, the text is now presented in the vertical tategaki form at the center of the screen rather than in a horizontal box at the bottom of the screen. Like its predecessor, this remake is a kinetic novel with no branching routes.

In a dark future, a man thought dead returns to Shanghai on a mission of revenge. His name is Taoluo Kong, an assassin who called himself a member of the criminal syndicate Qingyun until his comrades betrayed him, left him for dead, and raped and killed his sister. But death was not the end for her either: Ruili Kong's consciousness has been divided between several gynoids, each one harder to reach than the last. Armed with nothing but his blade and his will, Kong embarks on a bloody crusade against his former allies in the faint hope that, at the end of it all, he might be able to see his sister again.
