Jungle Quest

Jungle Quest is a 1-player arcade game for the Commodore 64 based upon Jungle Hunt.

Jim must challenge 5 levels of jungle dangers to rescue his girlfriend Jane. In the first stage the player is chased by an ever approaching lion, and must duck or jump over incoming spears. In the second stage, the player must swing between vines, carefully timing their jumps to grab the next vine before it swings away. Mistimed jumps lead to the player's demise. In the third stage, the player must swim underwater, dodging alligators, and regularly surfacing to take a breath of air. In the fourth stage, the player must jump over or duck under bouncing boulders while ascending a mountain, and in the final stage, the player must jump over a spear wielding witch doctor to save their girlfriend from being boiled in a cauldron.
