About

Janken Game Acchi Muite Hoi! is a game where the player competes in a variant of rock paper scissors popular in Japan.

The player first selects from the menu whether they want to compete against a cat, a geisha, a schoolgirl, or a fisherman. Afterwards, the player must play rock paper scissors against their opponent. If the player chooses correctly, they then have to guess what direction their opponent will look. If they guess correctly, a meter at the top of the screen fills up. If the player draws or picks incorrectly, there is no penalty other than taking more time to fill up the meter. This process continues until the meter at the top of the screen is completely filled. The game increases in speed as the meter is filled. After the gauge is filled, the player challenges one of the three remaining opponents. The player must fill up the meter before the timer on screen runs out, otherwise the game will be over. The player's goal is to defeat all four of their opponents.

The arcade machine for this game features a single joystick with two buttons on it, and the player must press both buttons to choose rock, one button to choose scissors, and none to choose paper. The game is played from a first person perspective, with the player looking directly at their opponent and only their hand being visible.
