Jambo! Safari

Jambo! Safari is a 1999 driving game. Players take the role of one of four safari park rangers (American zoologist George Wildman, Swedish photographer/aspiring professor Marit Söderström, Kenyan native Naftali Ngugi, and English veteran ranger Edward Arniele) studying wildlife. To conduct animal research, the player must pilot a jeep throughout the Serengeti and use the gear change lever to cast a lasso in order to capture a variety of animal species. The player must carefully "reel in" the animal while lassoing it, taking care not to break the rope. There are two ways to play the game: Beginner mode, which is a two-stage instructional, and Expert mode, which is a two-level, mostly unassisted mode with a final stage.
