Jack B. Nimble

Jack B. Nimble is a fast paced platform action/arcade game with a retro/Game Boy colour palette and a more than intentional nod to the Castlevania series.

It is an auto runner score attack game where the player has to travel the greatest distance possible for points, all the while jumping gaps to avoid death. The core mechanic has players jumping and whipping - something handled with a single input (one tap of the touchscreen to jump and another whilst airborne to whip). Whipping candles will multiply the player's score and said score is maintained via whip accuracy. The more whips that are thrown without hitting a candle, the lower the player's score. The goal is to reach the furthest distance with the highest amount of accurately whipped candles before death. The player can also use patches of tall grass to slow down and control their speed.
