Initial D: The Arcade

Initial D: The Arcade is the first major Initial D Arcade game by SEGA outside of the Arcade Stage series, which concluded with Initial D Arcade Stage Zero in 2017. Previous titles used a proprietary game engine and for this entry it is replaced with Unreal Engine 4. Races can also now support up to four players for the first time, instead of the 1v1 battles previously central to the game (though this mode is retained in some areas, such as story gameplay). Player avatars, used since Initial D Arcade Stage 4, are additionally overhauled for the first time.
