About

Ignite is a 3D racing game with arcade gameplay. This is reflected in the steering model, the nitro based on points from drafting, and the ability for cars to drift and suffer simple car damage. The game has a tactical approach to nitro as using it too much depletes the score, which is converted into a time bonus at the end of a race. This means that racers that use too much nitro and finish first, can still end up losing the race. The seven locations look realistic and there are no weapons or power-ups. The player is a car driver and must win the races. The game has three different types of racing cars: muscle, street and race cars, and several different variations. There are also three types of events and 35 races in total. The events are Race mode (regular racing), Knock-Out mode (elimination of the last racer after every lap) and Run-Out (starting with an amount of score, it gradually decreases but can earned with stunts - when there is no more left the race is over). The game supports online multiplayer for up to five players.
