This release celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Street Fighter series. All of the characters and their respective variants from all the Street Fighter II games (The World Warrior, Turbo, Champion Edition, Super, and Super Turbo) have been brought into one, brand new Street Fighter II game. This totals to 17 characters with 65 variations. The music can be switched between CPS1 (pre-Super/Turbo), CPS2 (Super/Turbo) and Arranged (FM Towns) versions as well.
Also included in the PlayStation 2 disc is the 1994 animated feature film Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie in its entirety.
