Hinokakera Fragment: Eclipse

Fragment: Eclipse is the third major update in the "Hinokakera" series of doujin 2.5D fighting games, developed by Akaishi Ryuka under the circle name "Reddish Region".

Set in the post-apocalyptic future, after the humanity had suffered an attack from a group of inhuman creatures and was nearly wiped out, with the technical progress coming to a permanent halt, it revolves around a group of characters, each with their own mission. While some of them are humans, others posses demonic powers, which had caused several Demon Sealing Wars in a not-so-distant-past. Particularly, "fragment:Eclipse" offers a visual novel like Story mode that follows the adventures of a single character - Raven.

Hinokakera's current fighting system, while set in 3D environment, is similar to the newer 2D games of the genre, relying on long combos, air combat, super moves and several way to cancel (or "brake") an attack in order to combo further.
