About

Secret Society Q is an evil organization which aims to conquer Neo-Tokyo by force. Their newest executive is Kyosuke Nishimura, alias "Rage", a terrorist who was betrayed by his comrades and recruited by the secret organization. Rage is now tasked with leading the group's invasion efforts, directly commanding their forces from the field, fulfilling the requests of Q's enigmatic leader, and fighting off the forces of justice.

Himitsu Kessha Q ("Secret Society Q") is a turn-based strategy game where the player, as Rage, controls the villainous forces attempting to conquer the city of Neo-Tokyo. The game is styled after 1970s superhero TV shows; each of the 13 missions is structured like an episode of a TV show including a theme song and ending credits, and is filled with parodies and homages to classic shows. The player commands their forces — soldiers, vehicles, and giant monsters — in turn-based tactics in order to complete their leader's requests.

Each mission has a fixed arrangement of units which cannot be changed beforehand; units can gain experience and level up, though this does not carry over into subsequent missions. Near the end of each mission, the hero of justice Mobile Detective Riot appears to stop the player, and must be defeated to clear the mission. Some missions include branching paths depending on the player's actions, leading to one of several endings.
