Hero Generations

Hero Generations is a Roguelike strategy game where every step your hero takes is one year of their lifespan. The player must find a mate before their lifespan runs out in order to have a child to continue their legacy. The player then takes control of their child and continues adventuring.

The goal of the game is to earn as much fame as possible (earned from completing quests, defeating monsters, and exploring the world) in a single lifespan. Additionally, there is a looming "doom" that is revealed to arrive in 15 generations that the player cannot ignore. The game is a mix of elements from 4X strategy games, roguelikes, and role playing games.
