The basic idea behind ​​Hattrick is to manage a football (soccer) team wisely, buying and selling players, setting the squad, expanding the stadium, training your players, strategies, team formations, etc. Each user has his own team that participates in a virtual league. Progress is not based around the time spent playing, but rather deploying the right strategies. There results of the games are calculated and not based on actually playing the game. Teams are divided over different leagues with the option to promote or drop in rank. Over 45 seasons of Hattrick have already been played.
