About

Hateful Chris: Never Say Buy is a side-scrolling arcade game starring a little skeleton. Chris was offered to join a corporation to use his image to sell different goods but he refused the offer. The corporation decided to create a new character mocking Chris so he went on a vendetta against consumerism by killing his imposter and everyone who stands in his way. The game contains mockeries of the pop-culture at its time of release.

There are over 30 weapons including, but not limited to guns, karate attacks, tomahawks, which can be found, purchased or acquired through completing specific tasks, as well as a Berzerk gauge, which, when full, turns Chris into an oversized red skeleton that destroys everyone in his way. The levels in the game are non-linear, offering players the opportunity to complete the missions in a different order and finish the game with different skills.
