Hammurabi

Hammurabi is a turn-based trade game. The player takes on the role of a medieval ruler. His task is to conduct a balanced economy, ensuring the harmonious development of society and increasing the ruler's income. Each turn corresponds to one year. At the beginning of each turn the player receives the information about cereal harvest, lost stocks, current needs, deaths and births, riots and trade incomes. The player may buy or sell corn and ground, purchase various facilities (such as market, manufacture or cathedral), strengthen the army, determine taxes and type of the judiciary, bearing in mind maintaining the economic balance and supplying grain to his subjects.
