Hallrunner

Hallrunner is a vector-graphics game that has the player running down an endless hall, dodging bugs and tentacles and confronting various unknown objects to FIGHT, TALK TO, or JUMP.

Players use the arrow keys to move forward and avoid the shapes (bugs and tentacles) that fly toward them, and when an object is encountered, a menu will pop up with three options. The player must choose one without knowing which object they've encountered. A dialog box appears to tell the player the results, good or bad, and points are awarded/deducted. Positive outcomes award 2 points, negative outcomes deduct 1 point, and neutral outcomes do nothing to the player's score. Colliding with a bug or tentacle deducts 10 points.

Approximately every seven obstacles a message appears on the screen to chide the player for continuing to play the game. The messages loop after about 100 obstacles.
