Hacha Mecha Fighter

This Cute 'em Up shooter features an otter flying the skies through eight stages. The player starts off with three lives, a single wingman and three bombs. A wingman acts an additional fighter (Ala Option from Gradius) who provides extra firepower. Up to four wingmen can accompany the player character. Bombs supersize the player character to destroy anything in proximity for a few seconds. In each stage, the player shoots waves of cute critter opponents and battles a boss craft. Bonus points can be earned by collecting fruits. Powerups grant stronger projectile shots. Unlike most shooters touching enemies does not harm the player, only their projectiles.
