Gun Godz

Gun Godz is a simple retro-first person shooter similar to Wolfenstein 3D with a theme of venusian gangster rap. It was originally released in a bundle exclusive to the Venus Patrol Kickstarter campaign backers in 2012, but was made available separately and as freeware in 2013.

The player's character battles through Venus' only building, a jail owned by a record company. The game consists of twelve levels, split into four themed episodes. Each episode also has a secret level that can be unlocked by earning enough points. Points are earned for kills, speed and finding secrets. In addition to a switchblade, four different guns can be amassed to battle the venusian gangsters, space police and monsters. The game features a faux-venusian rap soundtrack.
