About

Gu Jian Qi Tan is a fully voiced Chinese 3D RPG featuring a turn-based combat system mixed with Quick time events. Players can see whose turn would be next during combat and are able to use magic spells and items to aid them in combat.

Players take the role of Baili Tusu, the son of a shaman who is sent by his mother to train in a cave. Once Baili finishes his training and obtains a magical sword, he witnesses his village being massacred and loses consciousness due to shock. The game then switches to the future with Baili becoming a disciple of the Tianyong sect who saves a group of people from bandits. Baili finds out that the group is looking for treasure which can be used to revive the dead. Baili, being convinced that the treasure will help him revive his mother and find those who murdered the people of his village sets out with the group to find all fragments of the treasure.
