About
Green New Deal Simulator is a card-based simulation game that tasks the player with switching the United States over to green energy before the deadline of 2050. The country is separated into 11 regions, all with their own sets of stats representing the forms of energy each produces and unemployment numbers. The player is given a deck of cards representing various green energy technologies and policies. The player drops each onto the region where they want to deploy it; the region's stats are adjusted as a result. The player also has a budget they must keep to; the amount of money available can be increased by skipping cards. With each card played time moves closer to the deadline; the game is over if the player successfully converts all regions to 100% green energy before the deadline, or if they reach the year 2050 without doing so.
