About
In Grand Prix Story the player takes a managerial role of a Motor Sport Company, where the ultimate goal is to win different Grand Prix races. Like other Kairosoft games, most of the gameplay is in a manager mode where the player only control people indirectly. The tasks consist of hiring staff and training them. Also there is vehicle management of repairing cars and upgrading them. Lastly the player also need to research new parts and new racing cars for to have a competitive car.
During races the player can actually watch the race, without any direct steering or controlling. There is however one exception to this, and there is a chance of getting a turbo boost. This boost can be activated whenever the player see fit. This portion of the game can also be skipped, so that just the results is presented immediately.
