About

The player controls a luminescent nugget of ectoplasm, a lost soul trapped in the cave between this world and the next, ushering along other such lost souls so as to save them from its own purgatorial fate. As it so happens, as the game begins, one such soul becomes stuck in the cave, initially requiring assistance but ultimately offering succour to the player!

Given the metaphysical nature of this cave, it boasts some features not found in natural caves, most notably coloured barriers that can only be traversed when the appropriately-tinted switch is found in the cave complex and toggled, which changes the hue of the colour crystal back in the starting area which, when visited, changes the colour of the player's avatar... and allows the barriers to be shattered.

Physics don't work in quite the same fashion after you're dead, and the player's ghost has difficulty making sharp turns and taking corners. Most of the cave system consists of empty spaces, and so gameplay largely consists of exploring desolate caverns for switches and barriers and backtracking to manoeuvre successfully through tight corners. The endgame is similar, but involves the player seeking out garments with which to assemble a full suit -- dressing up before you go out.
