About

Go-jin Senki is a turn-based strategy RPG in the vein of Final Fantasy Tactics. The story follows Isamaru, a boy who is captured after his village is attacked by the army of Himuka. Himuka's king Raioura has launched an assault on the island nation of Kunagami, using humanoid weapons called Go-jin in an attempt to conquer the nation and make it part of his kingdom.

The game takes place as a series of isometric-view tactical battles which follow the story as it progresses, with visual-novel style story sequences connecting each chapter. The player assembles a squad of up to 6 characters; characters will level up but progression is simple, and each character has only one or two equipment slots depending on their class. The game's defining feature are the "Go-jin", which are mechs that can be piloted by one of the characters and have much higher combat abilities.
