Geniu$: The Tech Tycoon Game

In Genius: Unternehmen Physik, your role is to become a inventor-entrepreneur like Siemens, Edison or Daimler by creating your own industrial empire. To do so, you have to build a town, streets, factories, labs, ... and manage all of your company's needs (budget, employees, ...). You start with a small bicycle shop somewhere in the outskirts of Berlin, London, Detroit or one of the other five location the game offers, and the time is the 100-year frame from 1850 till 1950.

While playing, you witness all the great inventions in those 100 years, from steam and petrol engines to X-rays. The game is a complex simulation of the whole process, but also offers a lot of educational knowledge, which is delivered in an entertaining way through the game mechanics. You can read newspapers and even correspond with the geniuses of those times.

To progress in this 3D strategy game, you will also need your knowledge to solve a number of small tasks like building an engine or computing technical numbers. The game offers a lot freedom to do so, but if your skills are high enough, your progress will be easier and quicker.
