Garten of Banban

The main gameplay in Garten of BanBan consists of roaming around a kindergarten after closing time, completing puzzles and avoiding the main antagonist of the game, Opila Bird. You play as a mother searching for her missing child, uncovering more information about the incident that occured earlier at the Kindergarten, later called Make a Friend Day. While roaming through the Kindergarten, the player will find wall murals of the various kindergarten mascots, including the eponymous BanBan, as well as Jumbo Josh, Stinger Flynn, Captain Fiddles, Banbaleena, and the aforementioned Opila Bird. Each mural contains an illustration of the character, as well as a catchphrase relating to the character itself. Only two of the characters are present in the game outside of the wall murals, Opila Bird and Jumbo Josh.

The gameplay mainly consists of puzzles involving piloting a remote control drone to hit specific buttons that change elements of the environment, including opening doors to unlock key cards, which allow access to other parts of the kindergarten. The main areas of the Kindergarten include a classroom area, where a drone puzzle is present. Completing the puzzle allows access to a playground area, where an egg hunting minigame is present, where the player must find 6 eggs around the playground. This grants access to a restricted area, where a color matching puzzle is present and the player is first chased by Opila Bird. Completing this puzzle and escaping Opila Bird allows access to the elevator, which activates a cutscene in which Jumbo Josh appears and the game ends.
