Frontline Commando

Frontline Commando is a third person cover based shooter that takes place in an unspecified Middle Eastern location. The player takes control of a commando who on his last mission is betrayed and finds himself all alone on the frontline. The game plays similarly to other cover based shooters but with movement limited to jumping between a few cover spots. The player can swap between two different weapons that are chosen before a mission. These include different kinds of assault rifles, sniper guns, shotguns and rocket launchers that can be bought in the store. It's also possible to call in airstrikes to take out multiple enemies at once. Covers are destructible and will offer less protection as they get damaged.

There are a few different kinds of missions. In most the player simply has to take out all the enemies without dying. There are also boss missions where the player has to take out a main target, elite missions that offer tougher enemies, rescue missions where the player has to avoid harming journalists and local villagers and survival missions where the player has to survive until the time runs out.

The game is free-to-play and has a store where the player can buy weapons and items such as airstrikes, medkits and armour. There are two currencies: credits and war cash. War cash is earned by playing the missions while credits are bought with real money. Weapons are tied to tiers and the player needs to level up to get access to new ones. Levelling up happens once the player has gained enough experience from playing missions.
