Fishdom: Depths of Time

"Fishdom: Depths of Time" is the 2014 installment of the Fishdom puzzle game series, a direct continuation of "Fishdom 3". It combines puzzle gameplay (match-3 tile puzzles) with virtual pet care: virtual money gained through playing puzzle levels can be spent on aquarium fish and decorations. The game retains changes introduced in the previous installment, but also substantial new modifications, such as new impediments, and, first of all, new kinds of gameplay. Apart from the familiar puzzles in which the goal is to clear all silver and golden spaces, now the game also includes levels in which the goal is to dig out all gold or gems (introduced previously, but only as a bonus addition) and levels in which the player has to let diamonds drop to the bottom of the field by making matches under them. Bonuses have also undergone substantial changes.

As before, tanks in up to eight different styles can be bought and decorated. A rather loosely-defined theme which unites them all is time travel and so all eight styles are related to some time and place: prehistory, classical antiquity, the legendary Atlantis, pre-Columbian Central America, European medieval period, fantasy world, the future and outer space.
