About

Fire ProWrestling Z is the direct follow-up to Fire Pro Wrestling D, intended as the series' swan song and final entry, though it would return just two years later. The game itself plays essentially the same as its predecessor, isometric sprite-based, timing-centric gameplay intact. The key distinguishing feature is the addition of even more wrestlers, custom parts, and moves -- nearly 1500 moves are available in the creation mode, for example.

Included are a wide variety of play modes, including tournament and league modes, free battles, 5-on-5 elimination matches, 8-man battle royale, and a story mode where the player leads a team of four wrestlers through a full career. Up to four players can play simultaneously.
