About
Final Fantasy Chronicles contains two role-playing games:
The most noticeable changes in this release are included in Final Fantasy IV. The difficulty level and the complexity of gameplay were raised to match the original Japanese version, as opposed to the simplified Western SNES release (entitled Final Fantasy II). The game's script has been re-translated, aiming to include dialogues omitted from the original Western release. In addition, there are new CG movies in the beginning and in the end of the game.
Chrono Trigger underwent less changes. Gameplay and story remain the same, but several anime-style movies have been added. The game also contains a number of extra features: a "movie theater" mode which allows the player to watch the game's movies and listen to its soundtrack, as well as unlockable bestiary, dungeon maps, and art gallery.
