Final Fantasy is a remaster of the 1987 NES game Final Fantasy. It does not contain the additional game content from later versions and ports. Notable features for this version of the game are:
- Updated 2D pixel graphics with the involvement of Kazuko Shibuya
- Rearranged soundtrack overseen by Nobuo Uematsu
- Extras such as a bestiary, illustration gallery, and music player
- Improved gameplay with balance changes, new maps that contain more information (optional), autosaving and quicksaving, a modernized widescreen UI, classic filter, auto-battle options etc.
