Feed the Feed

Feed the Feed is the 2026 April 1st game for Tumblr. This is a snake-style game, where the player collects icons in a 20x20 grid. The player can move their snake in one of four directions, and earns points for eating icons. The game ends when the player runs into the walls or themself. Icons are either from accounts the user follows, or Tumblr interface icons. Some of the icons are powerups, including slow speed, extra score (but the snake grows rapidly), and bops (cat paws will smack the screen, obscuring the action).

A high score is kept between sessions, and the player is able to post their high score as a Tumblr post.
