About
Faces of War is a World War II RTS game where the player commands a small squad (usually as small as 3-5 soldiers) of either Allied, Soviet or German troops in a total of 30 missions.
The player can either give the troopers indirect orders (mount a gun, for instance) or control a single soldier directly. In tight situations this might even be required. The troops can perform tasks that one might expect from a soldier: crouch, walk, run, mount a gun, drive a vehicle, take cover behind somethings, mine a road etc. They can even take over abandoned enemy tanks to let the enemy taste their own medicine and they have enough AI to be able to perform certain tasks automatically, such as targeting enemies.
