About
EverQuest: The Planes of Power is the fourth expansion to the massively multiplayer online role-playing game EverQuest. A portal has been discovered in a new realm, the Planes of Power. This portal will help heroes bring justice to the world of Norrath, and rid the land of evil.
Contained in this expansion are hundreds of new magic items, including weapons, armor, shields and jewelry. There are also many new spells available for purchase. There are a total of twenty new zones, most geared toward the 45+ level players. Most of these new zones have scripted events that will challenge the toughest players and help along the new ones. Over fifty new enemies have been added to the game, dozens of spells for different character classes, and the trade skill/recipes have been expanded as to allow more interaction.
The biggest addition is that of two new planar cities that provide a hub for traveling to the different areas of the world, as well as a big boost for player interactions. A central storyline has been added that makes every zone, every continent, every land and every character part of the overall quest.
