About

eRacer is a real-world arcade racing game that, as the title indicates, has some features that make it suitable online. It can be played either over the Internet or through a TCP/IP or IPX LAN. Once online, players are able to compete in challenges, join forces with other player for co-operative play, as well as download new tracks and cars. The game also has support for saving replays that can be send by mail to friends.

Although it is billed as an online racing game, there are still some things for offline players as well. There are three game modes; Championship, Arcade and Time Trial. When starting the game four tracks and four cars are available. To unlock the new tracks players have to access the championship. There players must finish in the top four to get into the next round. As they progress players can acquire more money to upgrade their car. There are 14 tracks in total and eight cars. Each track can be raced against seven other AI opponents.
