Emil Chronicle Online was a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) which was officially called "heartful online RPG".
In order to make the game be accepted by a wide range of players, including busy and female ones, the game featured lovely Japanese-animated art style, an easy-to-play game system, and lots of battle and non-battle costumes.
The Japanese server was shut down on August 31, 2017. Before that, all servers outside Japan had already been closed due to commercial failure.
