If you've ever wondered what it would be like to work in a busy hospital Emergency Room, here's your chance! Join the staff of Legacy Memorial Hospital as a medical student and work your way up through the ranks.

Beginning cases are tailored for the Med Student and are the most simple. Make the right decisions about diagnosis and treatment to advance. As your success rate increases, so does your title .. from Med Student - to Intern - to Resident - to Attending Physician - and finally Chief of Staff!

The low-ranking Medical Student will see patients for eye and ear problems, cuts and scraps and other minor ailments. For each patient treated successfully, a new one appears in the waiting room with a problem slightly more difficult. Fail 2 consecutive cases and your next patient will be easier. The more difficult ones include broken bones, abdominal pain, "level 4 trauma" (breathing difficulty, concussion etc.) and, finally, the most critical cases (gunshot wounds, accident victims etc.)

Real actors and actresses portray your colleagues as well as the patients. Full-motion video clips add to the realism. There are over 100 different cases, more than 40 pieces of medical equipment to use, and resources so you can learn along the way.
