Electronic Baseball 3 is a dedicated handheld game that plays baseball for one or two players. The pitcher's controls are detachable or can be hidden behind a flap to choose one of the pitching curves. The batter can bat, bunt, or steal.
Aside from a slightly different button layout, changes in this third version of the game compared to the second is that it correctly counts foul balls as strikes until there are a total of two strikes.
