About
Dyscourse is an adventure game with cartoon style graphics about survival on an abandoned island. The game's outcome is heavily influenced by the player's decisions that will - similar to visual novel game - lead to a multitude of different endings.
You are playing as Rita, waking up on the beach of a deserted island after a disastrous plane crash. Soon you will find the other 5 survivors, each one with different strengths and characteristics: George, a farmer, his wife Jolene, Garrett, a video game addict, Steve, a office worker, and Teddy, a conspiracy theorist. Your goal: Survive until you will hopefully be rescued. Unfortunately survival isn't that easy, as there's almost no supplies left, and the island itself proofs to be quite dangeours due to wild beasts and unforeseen natural peculiarity. As often no one else seems to be willing to take hard decisions in the group, those decisions will often be left to you: Be it which task to do next, splitting the spare food rations or just trying to keep the morale up. Depending on how well you manage you may be able to save a few others, or you may lead them to their (often unpredicted) death.
