Dream Master

Dream Master is a Japan-only game released for the Famicom. The story takes place in the kingdom of Oltaria, where an evil wizard has taken the soul of the King's daughter and sent her into a nightmare realm. You play as a titular Dream Master, with the ability to get into people's dreams, and your job is to save the princess.

At the beginning of the game you get to name the Hero and the Princess. Gameplay involves turn-based battles in typical JRPG fashion, facing opponents in a battle screen for the purpose, and also adventure game elements like puzzle-solving, sometimes inventory-based. The game is divided in seven chapters corresponding each to a new dream, usually consisting of a new village to roam around and one or more bosses to eliminate.
