About
Drag x Drive is a sports game exclusive for the Nintendo Switch 2, centered on a stylized form of wheelchair basketball conveyed through novel control mechanics. In matches of three-on-three, players maneuver robotic "drivers" (wheelchair-like vehicles) using the Joy-Con 2 controllers in mouse mode: each Joy-Con controls one wheel, and movement, turning, passing, and shooting are executed through physical gestures such as sliding, lifting, and flicking. Matches are played in neon-lit arenas featuring half-pipes for trick mechanics, and alternate between competitive play and mini-games like rebounding drills and obstacle runs.
Gameplay emphasizes quick, fast-paced 3v3 matches with short durations (around three minutes). Players can choose different driver roles (forward, guard, centre), each offering unique stat profiles. The game features online multiplayer as its primary mode, along with solo challenges and reward systems that unlock cosmetic items like wheel colors or headgear.
