About

Four geek friends think they are going to play another night of tabletop role-playing games, but instead see themselves sucked into a fantasy world where they become would-be heroes as a mage, a fighter, a rogue and a pirate (which sort of doubles as a Spaghetti God Cleric). There they rescue a princess, battle Angry Chicken (and many other monsters) and eat pizza in their quest for hero-hood.

Doom & Destiny plays very much like a SNES classic Japanese-style RPG (down to the Attack/Skill/Item/Guard menu during the turn based battles), but with many pop references and tons of nerdy humor. As usual, you control a party of four characters, which can be equipped with all sorts of armor and weapons, and gain XP in battles which can be used to raise your stats. Battles are turn-based, and a line displayed at the top of the screen shows the order in which all characters and monsters will act, adding a layer of tactics. The game also features many optional side quests, some of which can only be performed after the end of the game.
